Domestic Heating Fuels

One of our difficult access tankers going down a narrow lane We supply Kerosene 28sec for domestic home heating which is also known as Regular Burning Oil (RBO), Heating Oil, and other various trade names. 

Kerosene is rebated fuel which currently carries no excise duty (Current duty rates) and is marked with a yellow dye and a euro marker chemical in accordance with HMRC requirements as it is a criminal offence to use as a road fuel.

Our Kerosene 28sec is delivered in bulk via delivery tanker or, should you run out or only need a small quantity, is also available by collection from our depot in 20 litre pre-packaged containers.

Red Diesel (Gas Oil 35sec) 

We can supply Gas Oil 35sec in bulk via tanker and by pump at our depot in Gaerwen. We also stock Gas Oil in 20 litre pre-packaged containers for collection at our depot should you run out or only need a small quantity.

Rules changed from 1 April 2022. The use of rebated ‘Red Diesel’ is now limited to the below industries

  • Agriculture, horticulture, fish farming and forestry.
  • Sailing, boating and marine transport (excluding private pleasure craft in Northern Ireland).
  • Fuel used for non-commercial purposes – electricity generation and heating.
  • Rail transport.
  • Community amateur sport clubs and golf courses.
  • Travelling fairs and circuses.

Gas Oil is a rebated fuel which carries a reduced rate of excise duty (Current duty rates) and is marked with a red dye and a euro marker chemical in accordance with HMRC requirements.  It is a criminal offence to use in any other way than those listed above. Under the HMRC RDCO Scheme we will need certain information on who you are and why you need the fuel.

Road Fuels 

We supply ULS Derv for haulage and general road use.  ULS Derv can also be known as Road Derv, Diesel or White. 

Road Derv carries the full rate of excise duty (Current duty rates) and is marked with a green dye and a euro marker chemical in accordance with HMRC requirements.

HVO Fuel (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil Fuel)

HVO it is a fossil-free paraffinic fuel which is a direct drop-in replacement for Diesel. It’s made from sustainable raw materials such as vegetable oils or animal fat, resulting in up to 90% reduction in Greenhouse Gas emissions. Formulated specifically to deliver a cleaner burn with excellent cold starting and long shelf-life properties, which additionally produces significantly lower NOx and particulate matter. HVO Meets EN15940 standards of fuel Quality.

Adblue

We also supply AdBlue, which  is the registered trademark for AUS32 (Aqueous Urea Solution 32.5%), and is used in a process called selective catalytic reduction (SCR) to reduce emissions of oxides of nitrogen from the exhaust gases of diesel engined motor vehicles. 

AdBlue is carried onboard SCR-equipped HGV’s and Buses in specially designed tanks and is sprayed into the vehicle’s exhaust gases after combustion at a proportion of around 5% to diesel fuel. AdBlue is not a fuel nor a fuel additive and never comes into contact with the vehicle’s diesel fuel.
